The 3 Most Successful Golf Companies In Region

The Bunkers were of course out of play as we would expect and the rough was “rough” as we would expect but overall we had the RSL Social Club that had 17 starters and our daily competition that also had 17 starters so we did have the eternal optimists that were able to participate in their beloved golf and not only that, had scores of 40 points and 39 points that I know of to prove the point that Gosford is now to be considered and all weather course. Those of you that could not come for this show really missed out on a treat – but not all is lost as I believe a return show is getting programmed for March/April because it is so popular. I was sorry that I had to pull out of golf today as I had an important appointment with my eye specialist however I am extra sorry now as my (would have been) team won the day.

Monday is a Charity Day (Kidney Foundation Golf Day) so there will be players on the course. Not all players prefer the standard clubs no matter what the brand may be. The rain held off for the most of the match with only the later players getting caught with some light showers. The rainstorm came in very heavily during the evening but had cleared to light rain at the end of the night. The increased revenue of circa £500,000 has been ring-fenced to support the development of key strategic priorities and also to offset proposed cuts announced in light of decreased funding available to Scottish taylormade golf balls online. Any club that elects not to take the 25% refund/discount, we will commit that value to a club support fund which will be used for clubs under considerable financial strain. The coastal resorts of Spain take a huge number of golfing holidaymakers every year. Please take note of the changes detailed on the scorecard that will effect your particular handicap. Members please note: The new course rating scorecard came into effect this weekend which will change some of the index ratings. There has been a lot of fallen timber over this weekend which will be a problem for F-Troop tomorrow.

There has been modifications. Some “Extra” helpers tomorrow would be great as there is a lot of timber to be moved. HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Anne Glance (Shelly Beach) had a great chip onto the 5th for a par, a long putt on the 14th for a par and a great shot from under a tree where her ball was nestled in the tree root and put the ball on the green; Donna O’Brien (Hawks Nest) skillfully threaded her ball through two trees at the 4th and had a par at the 5th; Lorraine Bignall parred the 7th, 14th and the 17th; Lynn Puiatti parred the 1st, 6th and the 7th; Shirley Daly played a great back 9; Kim Burke had 8 pars on the back nine; Di Thomlinson had a birdie on the 11th; Fran James had a gobbler at the 10th , a gobbler par at the 12th and parred the 2nd; Margaret Harrowell (Terrigal) enjoyed the day; Marianne Lanham had 7 pars and broke 100 (her thanks to Scotty’s coaching); Ronda Jordon was accused by her playing partners for being boring by hitting straight down the middle all the time; Elly Van Den Berg had a par on the 8th and a gobbler par on the 5th; Wendy Stapleton was an improved player; my highlights were playing with my ladies from Hawks Nest and Shelly Beach, Parring the 1st, 2nd and the 14th and winning a ball on the day.

My thanks to Lorraine Bignall for filling in for me with tonight’s presentation photos. Thanks Brian & Rhonda! After morning tea Peter & I collected more advanced Agavi plants that were donated by Brian & Rhonda Chapman. I cannot speak highly enough of all the Members who have donated their time and skills to this project and it will be a huge benefit to the club. Today we had twelve workers on hand including two new members. This will cover the cost of the shade arbor that was built at the 14th which a lot of the Members will appreciate especially next summer. It’s not essential, but a quick review of reviews for a course you plan to visit can help you to avoid the most crowded times, or know to make an evening visit in the summer if the course has little shade. You just need to make a conscious effort to tug the club back before up.
